Responsive Search Ads Available Globally In Microsoft Advertising

What: Yesterday, Microsoft announced that Responsive Search Ads (RSAs) would be available via the web UI, Microsoft Advertising Editor and the Microsoft Advertising API. The blog post was written by Microsoft’s Program Manager Juan Sepulveda and Sr. Product Marketing Manager Eugune Goldenshteyn, and detailed key takeaways and best practices for RSA’s.

Why: The announcement comes after the Responsive Search Ads beta led to an increase of 10% in volume, 6% in CVR, and a decrease of 7% in CPA for Microsoft Advertising users.

The result: Microsoft recommends using Google Import to directly import your RSA campaigns into Microsoft Advertising, from either the web interface or using Editor. It also recommends running no more than five ads per ad group with two or three expanded text ads (ETA’s) and at least one RSA before standard text ads are no longer served.
